Andrew's descent – one of the
most famous and oldest streets in Kiev. The name of the descent
as Andrew’s appeared probably in the 18th century from St. Andrew's Church. Until the
1860s, the street has remained virtually built, there were only a few small wattle and daub huts.
Today, Andrew's descent is called
«Kyiv's Montmartre». Here is a favorite habitat of Kiev artists, souvenir shops and various
cafes. This street like citizens and
guests of our capital. Andrew's
descent is a required point of any excursion in Kiev, which you
can order on the reception desk of our hotel.
